Title of the Talk:
Ephemeral Certificate Management: Building Cryptographic Agility for Secure Cloud Identity Systems
Abstract of the Talk:
As cloud identity systems become increasingly dynamic, traditional long lived certificates create unnecessary risk and operational complexity. Ephemeral certificate management aligns cryptographic trust with modern infrastructure by issuing short lived, automatically rotated credentials that reduce exposure and limit lateral movement.
This keynote explores how applied cryptography enables trust agility through automated issuance, lifecycle orchestration, and policy driven validation. Attendees will gain insight into integrating ephemeral identity with cloud native architectures, certificate authorities, and service to service authentication models.
By shifting from static trust to programmable, short lived credentials, organizations can strengthen cybersecurity posture while maintaining scalability, resilience, and developer velocity in distributed cloud environments.
