Ms. Madhushree Kumari

Bio: Madhushree Kumari is an accomplished technology leader with over 13 years of experience in architecting and delivering scalable distributed systems. She currently serves as a Staff Software Engineer at Visa, contributing to the FX trading platform within the Clearance and Settlement (CAS) team. In this role, she leads a globally distributed team across the U.S., India and Poland, while also functioning as a hands-on technical lead. Her responsibilities span the design and implementation of critical product features, with a strong focus on microservices and micro-frontend architectures within the FXTI group.

            Throughout her career, Madhushree has held impactful roles at leading firms including SAP, McAfee, IBM and FIS and has consistently delivered high-performance, cloud-native solutions in regulatory environments. She brings deep technical expertise in Java, Spring, Kubernetes, AWS, AI and Distributed system design. In addition to product development, she actively mentors engineers, leads knowledge-sharing sessions and bridges cross-functional alignment between engineering, product and compliance teams.

Madhushree holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Georgia Tech and a Bachelor’s in Electronics and Communication Engineering. She is currently pursuing the Artificial Intelligence Professional Program from Stanford University, further strengthening her expertise in applied AI and machine learning.

              A Senior Member of IEEE, a Distinguished Fellow of the Soft Computing Research Society (DisF-SCRS), and a member of Hackathon Raptors, she is a dedicated leader in the tech community. She currently serves as Chair for IEEE Young Professionals Atlanta, Secretary for IEEE Atlanta Section, and sits on the Advisory Council for Products That Count. As a Founding Member at WomenTech and a contributor to the IEEE Artificial Intelligence Policy Committee (AIPC), she actively advocates for female workforce participation and responsible AI governance.

              As a leading technology figure, she is the Silver Winner of the WomenTech Global Awards 2025 in the Software Engineering Leader of the Year category, a recipient of the ISRLA 2025 Women in Tech Excellence Award, winner of the TechHER Impact Award (International TechXcellence Leadership Award – ITLA 2025), and the winner of the SPARKS AWARDS 2026, Women Tech Power 100 award.

              Deeply engaged in the professional community, she frequently contributes to the global tech ecosystem as a keynote speaker, session chair, and peer reviewer for IEEE conferences and renowned journals. She has also served as a judge at innovation hackathons and student competitions. Passionate about mentorship and community engagement, she volunteers as a mentor with AnitaB.org, NextUp and her alma mater Georgia Tech, promoting innovation and professional development in the tech industry.
