Abstract :
Platform engineering was born from a simple promise, reduce cognitive load and let developers focus on building. Yet as systems grow in scale and complexity, that promise often goes unfulfilled. This session explores how organizations are closing that gap through cognitive platform design: embedding AI-driven observability, autonomous reliability mechanisms, and intelligent governance directly into the platform layer. Rather than asking engineers to manage complexity, these platforms absorb it. Attendees will gain a practical understanding of the architectural shifts, tooling decisions, and organizational changes needed to build platforms that continuously learn from operational signals, self-correct under pressure, and proactively support the teams that depend on them and turn infrastructure from a liability into a strategic enabler.
