Title of the Talk:
Enterprise Integrations and Extensibility Platforms: Driving Customer Stickiness, Revenue, and Scalable Innovation

Abstract :
From Integration to Adoption: How Enterprise System Design Drives Product Usage

Enterprise products rarely struggle because of missing features—they struggle when they fail to fit into the systems customers already use. In this context, integrations are not just technical add-ons; they are a key driver of product adoption and long-term value.

This talk explores how enterprise system design directly influences product usage, drawing from real-world experience building integrations for DocuSign across platforms such as Salesforce, SAP Ariba, and Microsoft. It examines how thoughtful integration design beyond simple data exchange enables seamless workflows, reduces user friction, and embeds products into daily operations.

We will discuss practical challenges such as scaling high-throughput systems, maintaining consistency across distributed services, evolving integration contracts, and meeting strict SLA requirements. The session also highlights key architectural patterns, including API-first design, event-driven systems, and orchestration strategies, and connects these decisions to measurable outcomes like user adoption, retention, and operational efficiency.

By bridging system design with business impact, this talk provides a practical perspective on how integrations shape the success or failure of enterprise products.
